Heating is provided by electric heaters, charged additionally according to meter reading.
The garden is home to many wild rabbits, as well as our own chickens: Ava, Clemmie, Peggy and Geraldine. It is also occasionally visited by the beautiful, if very shy, wild deer.

Situated just off the Dorking Road, with easy access to main road routes as well as plenty of scenic walks and cycle routes near by.

Local Shops:
A car is recommended due to the location of The Oaks.
Situated just off the Dorking Road (A24), 10 minutes’ drive from the historic market town of Horsham with a full range of shops, as well as a market, two cinemas & theatre, museum, sports centre and huge choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes. Supermarkets include Waitrose, Sainsburys & Tesco.
Warnham is our local village and there are a range of farm shops scattered nearby.
The Retreat has its own private entrance, easy, secure parking for cars & bikes, fully fitted kitchen, large living room, bathroom (with bath and hand held shower over), balcony with views over the grounds, and plentiful outdoor seating.
Further afield, try Cranleigh for smart shopping and gastro pubs, Billingshurst or Petworth.
Travelling North along the A24 is Dorking – a traditional English countryside town bursting with antique shops, surrounded by countryside housing the full array of pubs that England offers – from Gastro gourmet to old style gourmand!
