“We came to visit for the second time as we loved it so much. The place is truly beautiful and Emma is a wonderful, intutitve host. The whole place has a real British Countryside vibe. The rooms are cosy and welcoming, with a traditional feel that fits the setting perfectly. The grounds are beautifully maintained while still being kept to support natural wildlife.”

“Outstanding! Just Outstanding best describes The Oaks, itโs grounds and its hosts Emma & Adrian.
The Annex is super clean and of a high standard and quality in decoration & furniture.
A restful night sleep, in quiet bird chirping environment. You can walk the grounds or just sit and enjoy the views, whatever you choose, you can see the fruits of the hard work that goes into managing the groundsโฆ just outstanding!
Thank you Emma & Adrian for a memorable, restful & wonderful stay at The Oaks, where nothing is too much and outstanding is normal.
” A wonderful place to stay, with immaculate accommodation & inspiring grounds. Shows the culmination of much hard work over many years. A return is without doubt!”

“Accommodation: Fantastic! Bright, cosy yet airy, roomy, impeccably clean and all of the facilities necessary for an extended stay.
Location: Wonderful! Convenient yet secluded. Lovely grounds to the property available to guests.
Hosts: Delightful! Excellent communication. Not at all intrusive but immediately responsive. COuld not fault them.
Would certainly recommend and return.”

Grounds for guests to enjoy, with seating, tables, and plenty of places to stop, listen to the birds, watch the butterflies, and just take time.
“We had a remarkable stay … We (my wife, baby, and I) stayed for two weeks in self-isolation after arriving in the UK, and couldnโt have been happier.
We got lucky with amazing weather during our stay, and were able to take walks in the fields and grounds every day. are sheep, rams, chickens, and beautiful gardens.
Emma and Adrian have done an incredible job at taking care of their lovely property, and itโs truly a beautiful paradise to spend time at.
The accommodation itself is comfortable, and very homely. The bed was wonderful, and the apartment was spacious, clean, and well decorated. The kitchen had more than enough – Emma made sure that our dietary needs were accommodated, and was very thoughtful in all of her preparations for us!
There was plenty of natural sunlight, and the WiFi worked perfectly (I was able to work remotely without any issues).
At night – the area is SO quiet and peaceful, and the sky is absolutely filled with stars.
Two weeks wasnโt nearly enough time –
we wish we could have stayed even longer – and hope to return in the future! “
